Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist in Oxford, AL to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role includes shift management in the absence of store leadership.

You will lead the team to provide excellent customer service, manage show-room operations, and ensure timely processing of orders, returns, and invoicing while upholding company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are required to lead the team and interact with customers.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification is required.
• Desired: Retail sales experience, auto parts knowledge, ASE Certification, bilingualism (Spanish preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members to deliver excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered promptly according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store and transfers in a timely manner; contact customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle returns, refunds, and exchanges efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and coordinate with merchandising tasks.
• Ensure schedule adherence and proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and secure banking deposits.
• Other duties as assigned.
