Job summary

Papa John's International is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise shifts and work areas for high-quality products and customer service. You will ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and laws while supporting restaurant profitability.

Responsibilities include managing stations, leading a team, maintaining quality and safety, and assisting in inventory and cash management. Must be 18+, with long-hour availability including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Successful and stable employment history.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), including nights, weekends and emergencies.
• Ability to successfully perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to guidelines, techniques and expectations for each station including dough management and portioning.
• Maintains product quality, customer service and performance standards (MCE readiness, food/labor costs, restaurant cleanliness).
• Provides shift coverage and corrects problems promptly.
• Executes company policies, procedures and systems for operations and safety.
• Contributes to profit goals by managing inventory and cash handling within guidelines.
