Job summary

Papa John’s International is seeking a dedicated Shift Leader to supervise shifts and work areas, ensuring high-quality products and superior customer service. You will help manage operations, enforce company policies, procedures, and systems, and ensure compliance with laws and ethical practices.

The role includes managing shift coverage, tracking performance, and contributing to profitability through efficient use of cash handling and inventory control.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Successful and stable employment history.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), including nights, weekends, and emergencies.
• Ability to successfully perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to guidelines, techniques and expectations for each station including dough management, accuracy and proper portioning.
• Performs assigned work station duties such as making quality products and following all product procedures.
• Maintains established product holding times.
• Contributes to achieving the Company’s product goal and meets customer needs.
• Maintains policies and procedures including attendance, safety and security.
• Exhibits Core Values and maintains a positive attitude while working with others.
• Ensures adequate shift coverage and provides immediate feedback to correct problems.
• Maintains product quality, customer service, and performance responsibilities within standards.
• Uses the FOCUS System for cash management and inventory control.
