Job summary

Wingstop Restaurants in Pell City, AL is seeking a Shift Leader to direct daily restaurant operations in the GM's absence, ensuring compliance with standards in product preparation, guest service, inventory and financial accountability.

Qualifications include at least 2 years of supervisory food service experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong written and verbal communication, knowledge of labor laws and team recruitment skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is a big plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum of 2+ years of supervisory experience in food service, retail, or restaurant.
• Proficiency in analyzing profit and loss statements and financial performance of a restaurant.
• Demonstrated ability in recruiting and selecting team members.
• Knowledge of labor laws.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Initiative and assertiveness.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and deliver outstanding guest service.
• Control shrinkage, waste, expenses, and payroll.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, safety and staffing standards.
• Review trends and initiate changes to maximize goals and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies through meetings, audits and walk-throughs.
• Open and/or close the restaurant.
• Assemble and package orders according to Wingstop standards.
• Receive, inspect and sign/pay for deliveries in the GM’s absence.
• Place orders with vendors as needed.
• Maintain a current Operations Manual and follow procedures.
• Conduct daily walk-through and taste tests at opening.
• Ensure time and temperatures checks every two hours.
• Ensure products are fresh and prepared correctly.
