Job summary

A Shift Leader at Wingstop in Homewood, Alabama, will direct daily operations in the General Manager’s absence and ensure compliance with company standards in product preparation, customer relations, inventory management and financial accountability.

This role requires at least two years in food service supervisory roles, strong communication skills, and the ability to review P&L statements, recruit staff, and maintain safety and sanitation while delivering outstanding guest service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum of 2+ years of supervisory experience in food service, retail or restaurant.
• Proficiency in analyzing profit and loss statements and overall financial performance of restaurant.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide guest friendly environment with outstanding guest service and high standards.
• Control shrinkage, waste, expenses, and payroll.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and staffing standards are maintained.
• Review restaurant trends and initiate changes to maximize goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies through meetings, walk-throughs and audits.
• Open and/or close the restaurant.
• Assemble and package orders according to Wingstop standards.
• Assist other positions when necessary.
• Receive, inspect, and sign/pay for deliveries in GM’s absence.
• Place orders with vendors when necessary.
• Maintain Operations Manual and follow procedures.
• Conduct daily walk-throughs and taste tests at opening.
• Monitor time and temperatures every two hours.
• Ensure products are fresh and prepared correctly.
• Keep orders flowing and restaurant safe and clean.
