Job summary

Burger King - KR is seeking a full-time Shift Manager for its Orangeburg, SC location at 3599 St Matthews Rd. The SM will lead a restaurant shift, support the RGM and AM, and focus on sales, profitability, and guest service.

The role requires leadership of a small team, adherence to cash controls, inventory, and brand standards, with flexibility to work various shifts to meet restaurant needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed, for the proper functioning of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Follow cash control and security procedures (e.g., safe counting, cash drawers).
• Maintain inventory by performing Daily and Weekly inventory inspections.
• Receives inventory truck orders.
• Motivates and directs Team Members to exceed guest expectations with accurate, fast, and friendly service in clean surroundings.
• Provides coaching and feedback to Team Members to increase restaurant team capabilities and performance.
• Sets shift plans and drives operational results; direct efficient preparation and sale of products for prompt delivery; motivate Team Members across stations.
• Reviews restaurant results to identify successes and areas for improvement; ensure brand standards; can work all shifts (opening, mid, closing).
