Job summary

Applegreen USA is seeking a full-time Shift Lead to support the Restaurant GM and AGM at a Burger King location in South Carolina. The role oversees a Crew Members shift, drives key performance outcomes, and helps maintain brand standards while ensuring fast, friendly service and quality food preparation.

The Shift Lead will coach Team Members, manage inventory, and respond quickly to operational needs across all shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work across all shifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience providing outstanding customer service.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.
• Frequent standing for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds at times.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory.
• Directs efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products for prompt delivery within established speed of service guidelines.
• Reviews restaurant results to identify successes and areas for improvement.
• Ensures that restaurant upholds operational and brand standards.
• Motivates and directs Team Members to exceed guest expectations with accurate, fast, and friendly service in clean surroundings.
• Provides coaching and feedback to Team Members to increase the restaurant team’s capabilities.
