Job summary

Smashburger is seeking a Shift Leader to champion better burgers through excellent team leadership and guest service at our Maryland location. You will oversee FOH & BOH staff, lead onboarding and training, and ensure food safety and company policies are followed to deliver a consistently great guest experience.

Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager, you will drive daily operations, manage schedules, and maintain high service standards while being flexible to nights, weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete Smashburger training program.
• Ability to manage both FOH & BOH staff and shift operations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage performance of FOH & BOH employees and promote a positive work environment.
• Oversee daily operations, including training and onboarding of new staff.
• Ensure food safety standards and company policies are followed.
• Monitor guest experience metrics and uphold service standards.
• Coordinate with the Restaurant General Manager on daily tasks and schedules.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays.
