Potbelly Sandwich Works is seeking an Assistant Manager in Fort Worth, TX. You will co-lead the shop, coach teams, manage schedules, and uphold food safety and quality standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

You will play a key role in delivering strong guest experiences, driving sales, and maintaining shop profitability while building a positive, inclusive team culture with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 years management experience in a restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• Must pass Food Safety Certification and meet state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach and develop Potbelly Associates and Shift Leaders.
• Effectively interview and hire Associates, Certified Trainers and Shift Leaders.
• Develop and maintain a Good Vibes culture to attract and retain staff.
• Schedule Associates, Certified Trainers and Shift Leaders.
• Maintain critical shop information and attend meetings.
• Ensure security and back-of-house procedural standards.
• Count drawers and follow cash handling procedures.
• Drive local marketing and recruiting to maximize sales.
• Assist GM with cost of goods, variances and inventories.
• Maintain labor goals and develop effective shift plans.
• Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety.
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
