Job summary

Church's Chicken is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise on-shift Team Members, coach for quality customer service, and ensure adherence to Church’s procedures and safety policies. You will oversee opening/closing duties, inventory, and daily reports while maintaining restaurant standards and a positive work environment.

The role requires at least 18 years of age, a high school diploma or GED is recommended, and ServSafe training is recommended. Driving may be needed for shifts.

Qualifications

• Maintains cash handling and security procedures.
• Enters inventory and payroll data into the POS.
• Completes nightly POS close and closes out shifts accurately.

Responsibilities

• Monitors prompt, friendly customer service.
• Ensures menu items are prepared and served to standard.
• Ensures team members carry out assignments.
• Assists team members to prepare quality products and keep the restaurant clean.
• Demonstrates proper procedures for staff.
• Enforces safety and security policies.
• Performs opening/closing duties per Shift Awareness Checklists.
• Follows proper product procedures for all menu items.
• Handles receiving, storage, and rotation of food products.
• Maintains professional leadership behaviors.
• Ensures on-time attendance for shifts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
