Job summary

Zax LLC is seeking a Shift Leader to manage the shift, supervise team members, and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. You will train, coach, assign tasks, and enforce standards to deliver quality food and service.

As a shift leader, you will open/close duties, resolve issues, manage inventory, and maintain safety and cash procedures. This role requires leadership and a flexible schedule, including nights and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Background check required.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• Follows company standards and local laws with regards to employee time punches.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Technological savvy; knowledge of required company software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Conflict resolution skills.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the product, process, and people required to execute a shift.
• Assist in setting shift goals and aligning tasks to those goals.
• Train and coach team members to meet standards.
• Respond to guest complaints in a friendly, respectful manner.
• Delegate tasks and supervise performance during a shift.
• Maintain service, product quality, and cleanliness standards.
• Receive and reconcile deliveries and manage daily inventory counts.
• Plan shift duties and ensure opening/closing tasks are completed.
• Adhere to cash management policies and local laws.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed and report concerns to managers.
