Job summary

Zax LLC is seeking a Shift Leader to manage product, process, and people during shifts in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will supervise tasks, respond to guest concerns, and ensure standards are met while training and coaching staff.

The role emphasizes creating a high-performance culture, improving service quality, and maintaining safety and operational guidelines. Leadership experience is preferred and eligibility for background checks is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities and ability to train staff.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete all training requirements including: Zaxbys Shift Leader Development Plan and Food Safety Certification.
• Create a culture of high-performance and coach team members to meet company standards.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members and communicate performance concerns to the General Manager.
• Prioritize guest and team member experience and resolve complaints in a friendly manner.
• Maintain a positive culture and healthy team morale through recognition and leading by example.
• Communicate shift goals and motivate team members to meet targets.
• Delegate tasks and supervise performance during a shift.
• Maintain operational standards and compliance with guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are upheld.
• Enhance guest experiences by exceeding guest expectations.
• Receive and reconcile deliveries, stock products, and complete daily inventory counts.
• Manage food production and quality and take corrective action when needed.
• Track food safety and quality and ensure accurate orders.
