Job summary

Caribou Coffee in Virginia, Minnesota is seeking a Shift Leader to manage daily store operations and support the General Manager. You will ensure brand standards, coach team members, uphold safety and quality, and maintain an inviting store environment for guests throughout the shift.

You will lead shifts, train new hires, handle administrative tasks like deposits and inventory, and keep guests engaged through friendly service. A flexible schedule and opportunity for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in a leadership role, or properly trained and approved to take on Shift Leader responsibilities.
• Shift Leaders may be required to work different days, times, or shifts as business needs change.
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates mastery of every Team Member responsibility with confidence and excellence.
• Leads shifts with energy and engagement, keeping the team on track.
• Optimizes product sales while managing waste and maintaining a welcoming coffeehouse environment.
• Communicates deployment and roles on the floor to keep the shift moving.
• Delegates objectives and tasks based on team needs during the shift.
• Owns the current shift and ensures a smooth hand-off to the next shift.
• Upholds standards for quality, cash handling, andstore safety and security.
• Trains team members on responsibilities, product knowledge, and promotions.
• Performs administrative tasks including deposits, inventory, and product orders
• Develops Team Members through coaching and feedback in the moment
• Brings Caribou’s Core Values to life in all actions
• Leads as Manager on Duty with calmness under pressure
• Fosters an inclusive culture and owns personal growth and impact
