Job summary

Zax LLC is hiring a Shift Leader to manage shift operations, develop staff, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will lead a team, coach performance, and uphold safety and quality standards across every task during a shift.

Responsibilities include mentoring team members, handling guest concerns, coordinating inventory, and ensuring timely preparation and service. This on-site role offers opportunities for growth and hands-on leadership in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Part-time: Available to work 9 to 28 hours per week; Full-time: 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• Follows company standards and local laws with regards to employee time punches.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Technological savvy; knowledge of required company software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Conflict resolution skills.
• Servant leader mindset.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage shift operations and supervise team members to meet quality standards.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members and report performance concerns to the General Manager.
• Prioritize guest and team member experience and resolve complaints politely.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Coordinate inventory, deliveries, and daily kitchen/restaurant tasks.
• Plan shift duties and communicate goals to the team.
• Collaborate with management to set and monitor performance targets.
• Ensure policies are followed during daily operations.
