Habit Burger & Grill is hiring a Shift Leader to supervise both front and back-of-house operations at our Covina location. You’ll lead the team, ensure service excellence, manage shifts, and uphold health and safety standards while driving guest satisfaction and cost controls.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in related food service management
• High school degree or equivalent preferred
• Food Manager Certification and/or ServSafe Manager Certificate required
• Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and food safety practices

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests in a polite, friendly manner
• Handle guest requests and complaints promptly
• Assist in recruiting and hiring FOH staff
• Train and develop FOH staff to meet service standards
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and hygiene policies
• Oversee daily restaurant shift operations
• Contribute to sales through guest satisfaction and effective problem resolution
• Monitor food quality and availability across FOH/BOH
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas
• Lead opening and closing procedures and cash handling
• Support in various FOH and BOH roles as needed
• Help optimize labor and food costs while adhering to labor laws
