Job summary

Habit Burger & Grill is hiring a Shift Leader to oversee both front- and back-of-house operations and ensure a smooth shift. You will help manage labor costs, drive guest satisfaction, and work with the management team to meet sales goals.

Ideal candidates have leadership experience in food service, familiarity with food safety standards, and the ability to train and develop FOH staff. This is a full-time, on-site role with opportunities for growth within a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in related food service management preferred, or 2 years in other food service roles.
• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Food Manager Certification and/or ServSafe Manager Certificate required.
• Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule based on restaurant needs.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings, conferences, and training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with guests in a polite and friendly manner.
• Oversee FOH & BOH daily shift operations.
• Recruit and hire FOH staff; train and develop team.
• Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, appearance and uniform standards.
• Monitor labor costs, help meet sales goals, and maintain health and safety standards.
