Job summary

Dunkin' is seeking a Shift Leader to coach team members and uphold brand standards while delivering exceptional guest service. You’ll support the Restaurant Manager in meeting daily goals, assign tasks, and keep shift operations running smoothly through effective communication and proactive leadership.

Ideal candidates have prior leadership in fast-paced retail, restaurant, or hospitality settings, strong cash-handling skills, and a commitment to food safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous leadership experience in retail, restaurant or hospitality.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver great guest service.
• Ability to manage cash handling and opening/closing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities of restaurant team members
• Support the Restaurant Manager in meeting operational goals and execution
• Ensure Brand standards are met throughout shift including preparation of food and beverages
• Communicate shift priorities, goals and results to restaurant team members
• Complete shift deployment plans for shifts to ensure positions are adequately supported
• Coach restaurant team members as needed throughout a shift
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively
• Support the training of restaurant team members as needed
• Perform oversight of safety, security and profitability policies/processes throughout a shift
• Communicate clearly with the next Shift Leader to help prepare him/her for shift
• Ensure Food Safety standards are met
• Manage Inventory throughout the shift
• Provide great guest service and coach restaurant team members to do the same
• Handle customer complaints, conflicts, and emergencies, make quick decisions to resolve issues and maintain a positive reputation
