Job summary

Dunkin’ in a fast-paced restaurant setting seeks a Shift Leader to coach team members and uphold Brand standards during each shift. You will set goals, assign tasks, and motivate staff with timely feedback while ensuring quality food and guest service.

You will support the Restaurant Manager, monitor inventory and cash handling, resolve guest issues, and coach others to deliver exceptional experiences in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Previous leadership experience in retail, restaurant or hospitality.
• Experience managing daily store operations, cash handling and opening/closing procedures.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities of restaurant team members.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in meeting operational goals and execution.
• Ensure Brand standards are met throughout shift including food and beverage prep.
• Communicate shift priorities, goals and results to team members.
• Complete shift deployment plans to adequately staff shifts.
• Coach team members with timely, constructive feedback.
• Delegate tasks to ensure smooth workflow and resources.
• Support training of team members as needed.
• Oversee safety, security and profitability policies during shift.
• Communicate with the next Shift Leader to prep them for shift.
• Manage inventory throughout the shift.
• Provide great guest service and coach others to do the same.
• Handle customer complaints and conflicts, resolving issues quickly.
• Manage cash over/short and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, and adherence to company policies.
