Job summary

El Pollo Loco in Las Vegas is looking for a Shift Leader to oversee daily restaurant operations during your shift and lead the team to ensure fast, friendly service and safe, quality meals. You will supervise opening/closing, inventory, and cash controls while coaching staff on new products and procedures.

You’ll train teammates, uphold EPL standards, and ensure customer satisfaction. This role offers competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and strong growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be certified on EPL SPECS positions or have 1+ years of restaurant supervision experience and pass the EPL Food Safety Audit (FSA) class after hire.
• Must pass EPL Food Safety Audit (FSA) class after hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee opening and closing procedures and security; coordinate crew tasks for setup, food prep and cleaning.
• Ensure customer service and speed of service targets meet company goals; maintain health code safety and QSC standards.
• Lead and train team members on new products and procedures; supervise shift operations and staffing based on sales.
• Manage cash drawers, deposits, and verify catering orders; conduct safe cash handling and audits.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures while on shift and support Area Leader as needed.
• Greet customers and assist with orders to ensure a positive dining experience.
