Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a winning team on each shift, ensuring high guest satisfaction and adherence to food safety and cleanliness standards. You will coach staff, manage responsibilities across service, stocking, and cash handling, and maintain a positive, accountable store culture.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in retail or food service with 1+ years in a supervisory role, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service preferred.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift.
• Set a cheerful, can-do tone and motivate the team.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time with guidance and support.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Train and guide the team to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Ensure inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication are executed properly.
• Oversee key store processes including write-offs, cash wrap, and compliance documentation.
