Job summary

El Pollo Loco, Fullerton, CA is seeking a Shift Leader to guide the team during assigned shifts, ensuring fast, friendly service and adherence to standards. You will manage opening/closing tasks, inventory, and cash handling while coaching staff to deliver fire-grilled experiences that keep guests coming back.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred; willingness to obtain EPL specs certification.
Supervisory experience in a restaurant setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts and cover for managers as needed.
Ensure speed and quality of service while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
Coordinate opening/closing procedures and inventory, including cash handling and deposits.
Train and support team members on new products and procedures.
Monitor staffing and adjust shifts based on sales while maintaining policy compliance.
