Job summary

Dunkin' in Shelton, CT is seeking a Shift Leader to coach team members, ensure Brand standards during shifts, and help achieve daily goals. You will support the Restaurant Manager, assign tasks, manage scheduling and inventory, and deliver great guest service with timely feedback.

You will also ensure food safety, mentor staff, and help maintain profitability and operations during each shift. This role requires leadership and strong communication within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Previous leadership experience in retail, restaurant or hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities of restaurant team members
• Support the Restaurant Manager in meeting operational goals and execution
• Ensure Brand standards are met during shift, including food/beverage prep
• Communicate shift priorities, goals and results to restaurant team members
• Coach restaurant team members with timely, constructive feedback
• Support the training of restaurant team members
• Oversee franchisee safety, security and profitability policies during shift
• Prepare the next Shift Leader for shift
• Ensure Food Safety standards are met
• Manage inventory during the shift
• Provide great guest service and coach team members to do the same
• Schedule restaurant team members for shifts
• Manage cash over/short and follow cash handling policies
