Job summary

Habit Burger & Grill in Florida is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee all FOH & BOH functions, ensuring a smooth shift and exceptional guest experience. You will partner with the management team to manage food and labor costs, meet sales goals, and uphold health and safety standards.

You’ll train and develop team members, recruit staff, and model leadership and professional conduct. The role offers competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities as part of Habit’s culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Manager Certification and/or ServSafe Manager Certificate required.
• Flexibility for full-time schedule and occasional travel.
• 1 year in food service management or 2 years in other food service roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests politely and handle requests or complaints.
• Recruit and hire FOH staff; train and develop team to standards.
• Ensure team compliance with safety, hygiene and appearance standards.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations across FOH/BOH shifts.
• Work to increase sales, control costs, and meet targets.
• Maintain cleanliness, stock, and food quality; follow checklists.
• Open/close the restaurant as needed; manage deposits and cash.
• Support in all FOH/BOH roles as business needs require.
• Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies.
