Job summary

Habit Burger Grill in Miami is hiring a Shift Leader to oversee all FOH & BOH functions, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and smooth shift operations. You will work with management to control food and labor costs, meet sales goals, and uphold health and safety standards.

Responsibilities include mentoring FOH staff, recruiting, training, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures while maintaining cleanliness and stock levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ServSafe Manager Certificate / Food Manager Certification required.
• 1 year of related food service management experience preferred, or 2 years in other food service.
• Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule.
• Ability to travel occasionally for meetings and training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with guests in a polite and friendly manner.
• Oversee FOH and BOH operations during a shift.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing FOH staff.
• Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, and uniform standards.
• Monitor labor costs and assist in achieving sales targets.
• Prepare deposits and reconcile cash drawers from shifts.
• Enforce health and safety standards and company policies.
• Provide leadership and resolve guest concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock in all areas.
• Support management in opening and closing procedures.
