Job summary

Zax LLC is seeking a Shift Leader to manage product, process, and people during a shift at our restaurant. You’ll supervise staff, assign tasks, and respond to guest concerns while upholding standards and safety. The role emphasizes training, coaching, and driving performance to meet benchmarks.

As a shift leader you’ll mentor the team, communicate goals, and ensure operational excellence. A flexible schedule and teamwork are essential to success in this position.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Background check required.
• Leadership qualities and organizational skills; ability to interact cooperatively.

Responsibilities

• Create a culture of high-performance and train and coach team members to meet all company standards.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members and communicate performance concerns to the General Manager.
• Prioritize the guest and team member experience and resolve complaints and concerns in a friendly and respectful manner.
• Delegate tasks to team members and supervise performance during a shift.
• Maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with all Zaxby’s guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure service, product quality and cleanliness standards are consistently upheld.
• Plan shift duties and ensure opening and closing duties are complete.
• Collaborate with management to develop goals and report progress.
