Job summary

Zax LLC is seeking a Shift Leader to manage product, process, and people for each shift at our restaurant. You will assign tasks, respond to guest concerns, and ensure standards are met while training and coaching team members for growth.

You’ll help set shift goals and drive performance across the team and operations. As a leader, you’ll ensure smooth opening/closing, handle equipment issues, meet safety guidelines, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Part-time: Available to work 9 to 28 hours per week.
• Full-time: Available to work 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• Follows company standards and local laws with regards to employee time punches.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete all training requirements including: Shift Leader Development Plan and Food Safety Certification.
• Create a culture of high-performance and coach team members to meet standards.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members and report performance to GM.
• Prioritize guest and team experience and resolve complaints politely.
• Maintain positive culture and team morale through recognition and example.
• Communicate shift goals and motivate team to meet targets.
• Delegate tasks and supervise performance during a shift.
• Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are met.
