Job summary

Zax LLC is hiring a Shift Leader to manage a restaurant shift, overseeing product, process, and people to meet performance benchmarks. You’ll train and coach staff, handle guest concerns, and ensure standards for service, quality, and safety are followed.

The role requires leading by example, delegating tasks, and maintaining a positive team culture while aligning with company policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Follows company standards and local laws with regards to employee time punches.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily shift operations to ensure product, process, and people requirements are met.
• Train, coach, and develop team members and communicate performance to the General Manager.
• Prioritize guest experience and resolve complaints in a friendly, respectful manner.
• Coordinate with the management team to achieve shift goals and maintain safety and quality standards.
• Ensure opening/closing duties are completed and records are kept accurate.
