Job summary

SeoulSpice in Washington, DC is seeking a Shift Leader to guide the team and manage restaurant operations during a shift. You’ll position teammates for success, sustain a fast pace, and ensure guests receive accurate, high-quality food in a welcoming environment.

You’ll lead by example, coach colleagues in the moment, and coordinate with the Kitchen Leader and Sous Chef to balance supply and demand while preserving quality. The role offers hands-on training and clear paths to leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurants, retail, hospitality, or customer service.
• Ability to lead a team and maintain high standards.
• Availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work hands-on and support multiple stations.

Responsibilities

• Lead each shift with positive energy, organize the team, and communicate clear priorities.
• Create a welcoming guest experience while keeping orders fast and accurate.
• Coach Team Members, recognize great work, and provide helpful feedback.
• Keep the restaurant clean, stocked, safe, and ready for service.
• Handle guest concerns, complete daily shift responsibilities, and step into any station when needed.
