Job summary

SeoulSpice Korean Kitchen in Maryland is seeking a Shift Leader to guide the team and oversee restaurant operations during a shift. You’ll place team members where they can succeed, maintain a fast, accurate service, and ensure guests receive high‑quality food in a welcoming environment.

You’ll work hands‑on with the Kitchen Leader and Sous Chef, coaching in the moment and stepping into any station as needed to sustain pace and quality during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurants, retail, hospitality, or customer service, including guiding or training others.
• Creates positive guest experiences and communicates clearly and respectfully.
• Can organize the team, set priorities, and stay calm during busy shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead each shift with positive energy, organize the team, and communicate clear priorities.
• Create a welcoming guest experience while keeping in-person and digital orders fast and accurate.
• Coach Team Members, recognize great work, and provide helpful feedback.
• Keep the restaurant clean, stocked, safe, and ready for service.
• Handle guest concerns, complete daily shift responsibilities, and step into any station when needed.
