Job summary

Jersey Mike's Provo seeks a Shift Leader to guide daily restaurant operations, model excellent guest service, and coach crew members. You will help ensure food quality, safety, and a positive team environment in a fast-paced setting.

This role offers hands-on leadership development, opportunities for advancement, flexible scheduling, and the chance to contribute to local community initiatives while supporting the General Manager and building a strong Jersey Mike's team.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant or customer service experience.
• Willing to lead and coach others.
• Strong communication and problem-solving.
• Ability to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team during assigned shifts with positive leadership and exceptional customer service.
• Deliver outstanding guest experiences and ensure Sub Above standards.
• Prepare fresh, high-quality subs and maintain Jersey Mike's standards.
• Coach, support, and motivate Crew Members during shifts.
• Assist with training and onboarding new team members.
• Maintain a clean, food-safe restaurant environment.
• Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and operational standards.
• Manage shift execution, including opening and closing tasks.
• Assist with inventory, rotation, and waste reduction.
• Handle customer questions and resolve concerns professionally.
• Support the General Manager and Assistant Manager with daily operations.
