Job summary

Jersey Mike's in Vineyard, UT is seeking a Shift Leader to guide daily restaurant operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience. You’ll lead team members, train new staff, and ensure quality food preparation following Jersey Mike's standards.

Qualifications

• Previous shift leadership experience is preferred but not required.
• Able to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Food safety certification may be required; training provided if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team during assigned shifts by example and customer service.
• Deliver an outstanding guest experience with a "Sub Above" standard.
• Prepare fresh subs and ensure quality per Jersey Mike's guidelines.
• Coach, support, and motivate Crew Members each shift.
• Assist with training and onboarding new team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, food-safe environment.
• Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and standards.
• Manage shift execution including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Assist with inventory, product rotation, and reducing waste.
• Handle customer questions and resolve concerns professionally.
• Support the General Manager and Assistant Manager with daily operations.
