Job summary

Jersey Mike's Subs Johnstown is seeking a Shift Leader to guide day-to-day restaurant operations and foster a positive team and guest experience. You will model leadership, coach crew members, and help ensure high-quality subs and service in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include leading shifts, maintaining cleanliness and safety, and supporting daily operations while training new hires. Flexible schedules and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant, food service, or customer service experience.
• Leadership potential or experience preferred.
• Strong communication and team coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with positive leadership and exceptional customer service.
• Deliver an outstanding guest experience with Jersey Mike's standards.
• Prepare fresh subs and ensure food quality.
• Coach, support, and motivate crew members.
• Assist with training and onboarding new team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe environment.
• Monitor food quality and operational standards during shifts.
• Manage shift execution, including opening/closing tasks.
• Assist with inventory and product rotation to minimize waste.
• Handle customer questions and resolve concerns professionally.
• Support the General Manager and Assistant Manager daily operations.
