Caribou Coffee is hiring a Shift Leader for our Brooklyn Park, MN cafe. You will lead the team, uphold brand standards, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment while driving guest connections during shifts.

Key responsibilities include mentoring team members, maintaining SOPs, managing operations and deposits, and coordinating with the GM/AGM. This on-site role offers hourly pay and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of leadership experience or proper training for Shift Leader duties.
• Must be flexible to work different days, times, or shifts as needed.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates mastery of every Team Member responsibility with confidence and excellence.
• Leads shifts with energy to keep the team engaged and the shift on track.
• Optimizes product sales while managing waste and maintaining a welcoming environment.
• Knows the day's deployment and communicates clearly on the floor.
• Delegates objectives and tasks based on shift priorities.
• Takes ownership of the shift and ensures smooth hand-offs.
• Ensures SOPs and store standards for quality, cash handling, and safety.
• Coaches and trains the team on role responsibilities, product knowledge, and promotions.
• Performs administrative tasks like bank deposits, inventory, and orders timely.
• Develops Team Members with coaching and feedback.
• Upholds Caribou’s Core Values in all actions.
• Owns decision-making as Manager on Duty and stays calm under pressure.
• Leads with humility and builds an inclusive culture on every shift.
