Job summary

Caribou Coffee is seeking a Shift Leader to provide overall store leadership in partnership with the General Manager or Assistant General Manager. The Shift Leader ensures the team understands goals, expectations, products, cleanliness, new directives and guest connections during the shift.

Core duties include leading shifts that boost team engagement and guest satisfaction, coaching team members in real time, managing daily tasks such as inventory and deposits, and ensuring SOPs and quality

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of leadership, restaurant, retail or customer service experience.
• Ability to work at least one of the following: early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts that focus on team engagement and guest satisfaction with an unwavering commitment to Make Fun Happen.
• Takes ownership of the shift and communicates objectives and tasks clearly to the team.
• Coaches and provides feedback to Team Members to ensure the best DOING and BEING.
• Oversees daily tasks such as inventory, store product orders and deposits while ensuring SOPs are followed.
