Job summary

Caribou Coffee in Bemidji, MN is seeking a Shift Leader to direct store operations in partnership with the General Manager or Assistant GM. You will guide a team to meet goals, maintain cleanliness, and connect with guests during shifts.

You will lead with a focus on guest satisfaction, product knowledge, and promotional execution, while coaching and developing team members for growth and ownership of their tasks.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of leadership, restaurant, retail or customer service experience required.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts focusing on team engagement and guest satisfaction with a commitment to Make Fun Happen.
• Ensure SOPs and quality standards are followed consistently.
• Train Team Members on role responsibilities, product knowledge and promotions.
• Perform administrative tasks (bank deposits, inventory, store product orders) as assigned.
• Coach and give feedback in the moment to maximize DOING and BEING.
• Take ownership of the current and next shift to maintain smooth operations.
