Job summary

ABC Fine Wine & Spirits is seeking a Manager on Duty to lead store operations, greet Guests, and support the Store Manager in daily tasks. You will manage POS transactions, cash handling, and closing procedures while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Ideal candidates will have 6 months in a leadership role and 2 years of related education or experience, with flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays. ABC offers growth, benefits, and team-focused environments.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of proven experience and/or training in a management or leadership role.
• At least 2 years of education from a college or technical school in Business Management or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs demand.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty in training, open and close the store, and assist Store Manager and Assistant Manager in overseeing store operations.
• Greet Guests and provide prompt, friendly service throughout their visit.
• Operate a Point-of-Sale terminal, process transactions, cash handling, and reconcile opening/closing functions.
• Stay current on training, policies, and product knowledge to ensure a high-quality Guest experience.
• Train, coach, and direct other sales associates when acting as Manager on Duty in training.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment including sales floor, stockroom, and customer areas.
• Assist with daily property upkeep and restocking as needed.
• Provide wrapping service, assemble gift baskets, and offer carryout service when needed.
• Unload deliveries and merchandise product on shelves and beer coolers.
