ABC Fine Wine & Spirits is seeking a Manager on Duty to support store operations, open and close the store, and assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager. You will greet Guests, deliver prompt, friendly service, supervise cash handling, train staff, and ensure a clean, safe store environment with proper restocking and merchandising.

This role requires 21+, a HS diploma or GED, and prior leadership experience; a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of proven experience in a management or leadership role; or 2 years of college/technical school in business management or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs demand.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty in training, open and close the store, and assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in overseeing store operations.
• Greet each Guest upon entry and provide prompt, friendly, and engaging service throughout their visit.
• Operate a Point-of-Sale terminal to process Guest transactions with accurate cash handling and coupons/discounts; handle opening/closing and reconciliation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment throughout the store, including sales floor, stockroom, and restrooms.
• Train, coach, and direct other sales associates when acting as Manager on Duty in training to promote exceptional customer service and adhere to procedures.
• Assist with daily property upkeep, stock merchandising, restocking, and restocking from stockrooms.
• Provide wrapping for products, assemble gift baskets, and offer carryout service when needed.
• Unload weekly truck deliveries and merchandise stockrooms and displays per guidelines.
