Job summary

ABC Fine Wine & Spirits in Florida seeks a Manager on Duty to oversee daily store operations, greet guests, and support the Store Manager. You will handle POS transactions, cash handling, and reconciliation while maintaining a clean and safe store environment.

The role requires a minimum of 21 years old, some management experience, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Training and growth opportunities are available within a family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of proven experience and/or training in a management or leadership role.
• At least 2 years of education from a college or technical school in Business Management or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs demand.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty in training, open and close the store, and assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in overseeing store operations.
• Greet each Guest upon entry and provide prompt, friendly, and engaging service throughout their visit.
• Operate a Point-of-Sale terminal to process Guest transactions with accurate cash handling and coupon/discount application; include opening/closing functions with reconciliation.
• Stay current on required training, policies, and product knowledge to ensure compliance and a high-quality Guest experience.
• Train and coach other sales associates when acting as Manager on Duty in training to promote exceptional customer service.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment including sales floor, stockroom, team member areas, and restrooms.
• Assist with daily property upkeep and curb appeal tasks such as sweeping, debris removal, cart gathering, trash, and restroom cleaning.
• Provide wrapping for ABC products, assemble gift baskets, and offer carryout service when needed.
• Unload weekly truck deliveries and stock shelves per guidelines.
