Job summary

ABC Fine Wine & Spirits is seeking a Shift Leader Trainee who will be trained to become Shift Leader within about 90 days. The role focuses on delivering high-quality guest service, overseeing store operations in training, and assisting management to ensure a smooth, compliant store experience.

You will handle transactions, learn policies, and coach teammates while maintaining a clean, organized environment and assisting with merchandising and daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain leadership/management experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty in training and assist store management.
• Greet guests and provide prompt, friendly service.
• Process transactions using POS with accurate cash handling and coupons per procedures; handle opening/closing functions.
• Stay current on required training, policies, and product knowledge.
• Train and coach others to promote exceptional customer service and adherence to procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe store environment including sales floor, stockroom and public areas.
• Assist with daily property upkeep and restocking as needed.
• Provide wrapping, gift baskets, and carryout service when needed.
• Unload weekly truck deliveries.
• Merchandise and restock shelves and beer coolers per guidelines.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by store management.
