Job summary

ABC Fine Wine & Spirits in Palm Bay, FL seeks a Shift Leader Trainee to develop into a Store Leader within ~90 days. You will greet Guests, supervise associates, and support opening/closing duties while delivering high quality service and accurate cash handling.

This role emphasizes training, coaching, maintaining a clean store, merchandising, stocking weekly deliveries, and assisting with customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in management or leadership role or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty in training, open and close the store, and assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in overseeing store operations.
• Greet each Guest upon entry and provide prompt, friendly, and engaging service throughout their visit.
• Operate a Point-of-Sale terminal to process Guest transactions, including accurate cash handling and coupon/discount application.
• Stay current on required training, company policies, and product knowledge to ensure compliant, informed Guest experiences.
• Train, coach, and direct other sales associates when acting as Manager on Duty in training to promote exceptional customer service.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment including sales floor, stockroom, and restrooms.
• Assist with daily property upkeep including sweeping, parking lot duties, and trash removal.
• Provide gift wrapping for ABC products and carryout service as needed.
• Unload and stock weekly truck deliveries; merchandise and display products on shelves and in beer coolers.
