Applegreen is hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead shift teams at our travel plaza in New Jersey. You will ensure exceptional customer service, oversee daily tasks, and maintain brand standards and food safety requirements.

Responsibilities include opening/closing checklists, operating the POS, handling cash, training new team members, cross-selling products, and maintaining product knowledge. You will work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prep, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and all policies; report issues to plaza leadership.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned.
