Job summary

Everyday Coffee Company is seeking a Shift Leader to coach team members and execute operational Brand standards during shifts. You will set goals, assign tasks, and provide timely feedback to ensure great guest service.

The role requires leadership experience in retail or hospitality and strong English communication. The Shift Leader will assist the Restaurant Manager, oversee safety and inventory, and help maintain food and beverage quality across the shift.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities of restaurant team members.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in meeting operational goals.
• Ensure Brand standards are met during shift.
• Communicate shift priorities and results to team members.
• Complete shift deployment plans to adequately cover roles.
• Coach team members with timely, constructive feedback.
• Delegate tasks for smooth workflow and resource use.
• Support training of team members as needed.
• Oversee safety, security, and profitability policies during a shift.
• Communicate with next Shift Leader to prepare them for the shift.
• Ensure Food Safety standards are met.
• Manage inventory throughout the shift.
• Provide great guest service and coach others accordingly.
• Handle customer complaints and emergencies promptly.
