Job summary

Everyday Coffee Company is seeking a Shift Leader in Maine to coach team members during shifts, ensure brand standards, and deliver excellent guest service. You will set goals, assign tasks, and motivate staff by providing timely feedback to maintain smooth operations.

The role requires prior leadership in a retail or hospitality setting, strong English communication, and the ability to manage daily store operations, inventory, and customer relations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Minimum leadership experience in retail, restaurant or hospitality.
• Proven ability to manage daily store operations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver guest experience in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities of restaurant team members.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in meeting operational goals and execution.
• Ensure Brand standards are met throughout shift including food and beverage prep.
• Communicate shift priorities, goals and results to team members.
• Complete shift deployment plans to ensure adequate coverage.
• Coach team members with timely, constructive feedback.
• Delegate tasks to ensure smooth workflow and optimal use of resources.
• Support training of team members as needed.
• Oversee safety, security and profitability policies during shift.
• Prepare the next Shift Leader for their shift responsibilities.
• Ensure Food Safety standards are met.
• Manage inventory during shift.
• Provide great guest service and coach others to do the same.
• Handle customer complaints and emergencies professionally.
• Manage cash over/short and adherence to cash handling policies.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, and policy adherence.
