Job summary

Buffalo Wild Wings in Bakersfield, CA seeks a shift supervisor to support management and oversee Front of House and Heart of House teams. You will lead a team, ensure guest satisfaction, manage shift operations, and complete essential administrative tasks.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and knowledge of restaurant procedures, including responsible alcohol service. Must be 21+ with Wing Certified Trainer and Shift Leader certifications.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable about current marketing initiatives and upcoming events
• Knowledgeable of proper sanitation, food safety, and security procedures
• Knowledge of RAS (responsible alcohol service) procedures as defined by laws and policy
• High degree of customer service
• Knowledge of Operations and ability to resolve Guest issues
• Knowledge of all menu and drink items to ensure quality and coach others
• Conflict management skills and emotional intelligence

Responsibilities

• Ensure 100% of table visits are performed and Guest issues resolved
• Lead and coach Team Member performance
• Impact sales and profits in the restaurant
• Open and close the restaurant, including paperwork
• Run a mid-shift and perform shift change
• Break down cash drawers and perform safe audits
• Inspect credit cards and complete Manager Absolutes
• Perform CVDs, Pull Backs, and Server check-outs
• Document shift highlights in daily log
• Monitor food quality, labor, and safety throughout the shift
• Receive orders and ensure proper storage of food and liquor
• Conduct Team Member pre-shift meetings
• Address Guest complaints and assign cleaning duties
• Manage labor on the shift and ensure safety
