Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking a Shift Leader in Cincinnati for full-time, 37-40 hours per week, with 1st–3rd shifts possible. The role emphasizes delivering the Hi Five Guest Experience and ensuring safe, ethical operations, including alcohol and tobacco sales compliance.

You will supervise tasks, assist guests, manage stock, and maintain equipment and store conditions. The position requires good communication, basic math, and physical ability to lift items.

Responsibilities

• Overall Guest Services: greet Guests, ensure store ready, anticipate Guests' needs, leave satisfied and return.
• DipSide Guest Services: prepare shakes/malts, ice cream/yogurt cups/cones, sundaes, sodas, hand-packed containers.
• POS System & Gas Console: authorize gas sales, register transactions, handle coins/currency/cheques/credit cards/coupons/food stamps, make change.
• Stocking: keep shelves, dip cabinet, coffee pots, ice dispensers filled; rotate stock; check dates.
• Security: monitor Guests, manage cash drop procedures, follow Tobacco/Alcohol/Robbery policies.
• Maintenance: keep store/parking lot clean and safe; maintain equipment temps.
• Reporting: complete time records and Customer First Document.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
• English communication with customers.
• Operate store equipment and identify documents.
• Prepare DipSide items from dip cabinets.
• Handle payments and make change accurately.
• Move merchandise to display areas.
• Clean counters and surfaces.
• Tolerate cold temperatures and brief temperature exposure.
• Lift at least 10 pounds to 5 feet.
• Place 21-pound package into a dip cabinet.
