Job summary

Dunkin - HZ Coffee Group is seeking a Shift Leader in Houston to supervise restaurant team members and support the Restaurant Manager in achieving operational goals. You will ensure brand standards, coach staff, manage inventory and uphold food safety across your shift.

The role emphasizes leadership, customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced Dunkin environment while maintaining high guest satisfaction and smooth shift transitions.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Previous leadership experience in retail, restaurant or hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities of restaurant team members.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in meeting operational goals and execution.
• Ensure Brand standards are met throughout shift including preparation of food and beverages.
• Communicate shift priorities, goals and results to restaurant team members.
• Coach restaurant team members with timely, constructive feedback.
• Support the training of restaurant team members as needed.
• Oversee safety, security and profitability policies/processes during shift.
• Coordinate with the next Shift Leader to prepare them for the upcoming shift.
• Ensure Food Safety standards are met.
• Manage inventory throughout the shift.
• Provide great guest service and coach the team to do the same.
• Schedule team members for shifts.
• Manage cash over/short and ensure compliance with cash handling policies.
