Job summary

Steak ‘n Shake is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead the Restaurant Associate team on assigned shifts, uphold operational and financial standards, and coach staff to deliver exceptional service and food quality.

You will partner with the General Manager or Franchise Partner Designate, ensure health and safety compliance, and demonstrate leadership by mentoring trainers and associates to meet guest expectations and company goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety training.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication and guest-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Steak ’n Shake shift to meet standards for service, food quality, and speed.
• Coach and develop Associates; assign duties and monitor performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and security procedures.
• Discipline staff when required and participate in hiring decisions.
