Job summary

Steak ’n Shake is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead the shift and coach a team of Associates toward exceptional service and food quality on each scheduled shift.

You will ensure compliance with health codes, train staff, and manage daily operations, including inventory, safety standards and guest satisfaction, while partnering with General Manager and Franchise Partner Designate to achieve business goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certified in all Stations at Steak ’n Shake.
• ServSafe certification according to local regulations.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Ability to work 40+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Steak ’n Shake shift and manage staff.
• Execute the 14 point walk and correct deficiencies.
• Ensure food safety compliance and proper storage.
• Maintain service, hospitality, accuracy and speed standards.
• Discipline and hire/terminate recommendations as needed.
• Train and coach Associates to deliver exceptional service.
