Job summary

Chicken Salad Chick is seeking a Team Leader to assist the General Manager and Assistant Manager in daily restaurant operations in Albertville, Alabama. You will help ensure guest satisfaction, uphold food quality standards, and support financial objectives during your shift.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and leadership abilities. Previous restaurant experience is highly preferred, and you will participate in Shift Leader training to advance operations and guest

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Complete formal Shift Leader classes provided by the Corporate Training Department.

Responsibilities

• Assist the GM and AM in the daily operation of the restaurant within the budget.
• Ensure compliance with food standards, preparation, and production by following corporate handling procedures.
• Follow Chicken Salad Chick procedures in dining room, service area and kitchen.
• Train and counsel hourly team members working during the shift.
• Guarantee hospitality and service at the highest level for all guests.
• Coach hourly team members during the shift as needed.
• Maintain personnel records, team member schedules and reports.
• Prepare and maintain administrative and financial records as directed by the GM.
• Present specials, promotions, and marketing plans as per company procedures during shift.
• Maintain restaurant hours during the shift.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation procedures and all regulations during shift.
• Make decisions on team member assignments, disciplinary actions, and shift execution.
• Defer hirings, pay increases, and vendor/purchase decisions beyond normal shift operations to GM/AM.
