Job summary

Zaxby's is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee people, processes, and products for each shift, setting goals, assigning tasks, and ensuring guest needs are met. You will undergo the Shift Leader Development Plan and obtain Food Safety Certification, with growth opportunities, flexible hours, and eligibility for bonuses twice a year after one year of employment and completing certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete all training requirements including: Zaxby's Shift Leader Development Plan and Food Safety Certification
• Creates a culture of high-performance and trains and coaches team members to meet all company standards
• Mentor, coach and develop team members and communicate performance concerns to the General Manager
• Prioritizes the guest and team member experience and resolves complaints and concerns in a friendly and respectful manner
• Create and maintain a positive culture and healthy team morale through recognition and leading by example
• Communicates shift goals and motivates team members to meet goals and perform to their highest ability level
• Delegates tasks to team members and supervises performance during a shift
• Maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with all Zaxby's Franchising LLC and Zax LLC guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are consistently upheld
• Enhance guest experiences by ensuring that team members satisfy and exceed guest expectations
• Plans shift duties and ensures opening and closing duties are complete
